February 2008

Dear all, I think I’m a bit late to wish you a Happy New Year but I do hope that the rest of 2008 is good for you.

I apologise for not being in touch more regularly – but I’m happy to say that the awareness of Milentos is growing, and therefore I am becoming increasingly busy. The results we are now having are most rewarding, and I have had a lot of very good written and verbal feedback from the Milentees.

I am at present running the fourth programme at Field Place School, here in Worthing. The programmes have been very popular - this time we are bursting at the seams, but sadly there wasn’t room for all the people who applied; however we are hoping to get the funding to do one next term.

The Pre-school Milentos at Reflections Nursery is also going very well – this is an on-going programme for the children who start school next September.

I have further schools interested in running programmes – starting in April, including a local Secondary School; where I am going to be running a programme for teachers.

Although I am doing a lot of work in schools, I don’t want to give up the idea of running groups in halls and Leisure Centres for people from a variety of schools mixed together, as they have proved very beneficial.

I also want to continue to run the “Small Group” Programmes in my home – these are a very good way of introducing the programmes or re-enforcing them, in an informal environment. The next “Small Group” is due to start on Thursday March 6th – and will run until Thursday April 3rd. If you are interested please do get in touch.

The Family Programmes also take place here in my home, and are similar to the above – except that they are for individual families.

I have also been approached about video conferencing, so in the not too distant future I could be transmitting the programmes to other parts of the world – what fun!!!

I am now planning to extend out of Worthing to run Programmes in the Brighton and Hove area, and in Pulborough (and gradually farther afield). Therefore I am looking for people who may be interested in training as a Milentor – so if you know anyone please do point them in my direction.

You may like to look at the photos on the website. Last summer a group of children and adults joined me for a photo shoot, and we had two hours of fun while Keith Colin from Bees Knees Photography took an abundance of photos; he comes highly recommended as photographer.

Another plan for the future is to work alongside a group of therapists to run day events involving: Milentos, Reflexology, Aromatherapy; Styling, etc etc, and tasty, healthy refreshments will be provided – so if you are interested, or know anyone who might be interested in hosting one of these days, please do let me know, and we can get the ball rolling.

Very Best Wishes,

Yours Sincerely,

Jane Vrettos
